Bundesrealgymnasium Feldkirchen
Our school is a grammar school located in Feldkirchen, a small town in southern Austria. We are situated in a rural area surrounded by mountains and small villages.
Our school places a special emphasis on science classes (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) as well as languages (English, Italian, Latin, and French), IT and Physical Education. We offer both lower and upper secondary education, allowing students to attend our school for either four or eight years before graduating with the Austrian "Matura" which is equivalent to A-levels. This means we teach students aged 10 to 18. Currently, we have 541 students enrolled across 23 classes and a total of 64 teachers.
We provide a variety of elective and extra-curricular activities including choir, school band, drama club, handball, football or Science lab. Thanks to our Erasmus+ accreditation, we can collaborate with several schools to address important issues such as climate change.
